"I loved this but my husband and seven year old weren't very keen. I also just used a litre and a half of stock which was plenty. I substituted the kale with savoy cabbage which worked well but needed a little extra cooking."

"This is very nice and you can adapt it to use different veg depending on wnat you have to hand. i strongly recommend using passatta or tinned toms instead of stock though, makes it richer and thicker"

One-pot lentil chicken

"This had a quite nice flavour. the preparation was a little long for what is basically a stew, browning the chicken properly takes a while but is worth it. I have definatley made better one pots with less prep time. If you double the recipe to feed four (as i did) i would recommend not doubling up on the wine (maybe fifty percent more)"

"This is wonderful, can't wait to do a vat of it for bonfire night. i agree that it needs two tins of beans and i might reduce the amount of smoked paprika slightly next time as it is very strong. Also, i find baking the sausages in the oven works better."
