Lemon drizzle cake

"Have made this cake quite a few times now and have been beseiged for the recipe which quite annoys my daugther as she wants me to be known for it (Ta Tana). Found it does need a bit longer cooking than stipulated and if you place tinfoil over the top it will cook without burning. Also agree with using extra lemons - the Meyer ones I use here (NZ) are quite sweet and almost edible like an orange. I think a very tart lemon should be sought. Also, my topping (no matter how many variations) too, has never looked like the photo (cheers food stylist and artistic licence). However, as I have said, it has never failed to please and is almost like a light and fluffy sponge with a hint of citrus - mmm, works for me."
