"Added the two cans of water but left it cooking in the oven for much longer than the recipe suggested and added the red pepper and beans much earlier to all cook together like a stew and gain the right consistency. Delicious taste and will cook again."

"Delicious. I used parmesan as a topping as I didn't have breadcrumbs and it was so tasty. Only downside I suppose is the calorie count but as a treat who cares? Used back bacon also because that's what was in the fridge."

"I used half smoked haddock and half fresh haddock to lessen the salt and it was delicious. This is the best kedgeree recipe by far. The rice is delicately flavoured compared to some other recipes. Beautiful."
