"Made this with almonds instead of hazelnuts as that's what I had in the cupboard. I also blitzed the plums in the magimix to chop them up as I couldn't be bothered to chop them by hand - this worked well and I liked the consistency. Good recipe all round and kept well"

"Tasty recipe. I did half portions but kept 50g almonds and 3 tblsp milk and 2 tsp baking powder. This meant the cupcakes were very almondy and moist and were delicious. I also blizted the raspberries in a handblender which made them pink which my little boy liked!"

"I made this for a buffet lunch for guests. It was very tasty and looked good but the cooking time was not sufficient and I had to put it back in the oven for a further 15 mins to make sure it was properly cooked. "

"This was very easy to make and looked great. I varied the receipe slightly as I don't like blue cheese and used chorizo and leeks instead and it was very tasty. I will certainly be making this again and varying ingredients as the basic recipe is so easy "

"I make this alot. The marzipan is lovely inside and as we all love the stuff we actually roll out a proper "simnel" topping of marzipan on the top too. Cake is moist & light"
