"It sounds bonkers, but actually rather nice.Also unable to blend, so just chopped really small pieces. My son was horrified to find out that he'd eaten beetroot and enjoyed it, but then surely anything added to chocolate...."

"After recovering from my initial horror at the fennel in my veg box, I found this recipe and was surprised by how nice it was ! The fennel was subtle and the chicken (I used skinless boned thighs) and potatoes were tender, although next time may add a little chilli for a kick. Will definatley not be so scared of fennel next time I get one!"

"Lovely!! Have made this a few times now - even the little ones like it (AND eat the beans - now thats a winner!) I use the ready prepped 'gammon bits' from the supermarket and (dare I admit) after the wine, just pour all the stock in and let it get on with it-still tastes delicious!Thank you Good Food."
