"This was a very successful Saturday night supper for my husband and young grandchildren. The recipe said to tie the bacon to the sausages, but I found it much quicker and easier to keep each slice of bacon in place with a toothpick. I served it with mashed potatoes and stir-fried cabbage scattered with Country Mix (a blend of nuts and dried fruit) from Tesco. "
