"Loved this, simple but tasty, I used salmon and prawns because that's what I had to hand, serve with green veg to get perfect comfort food. "

"Very tasty! Felt the cous cous was very slightly oily so will definitely use skinless chicken next time. "

"Made a half sized version of this over Christmas and it was very good! Did have a bit of a panic over my jelly setting so added a couple more leaves and ended up with a rather firm jelly :-) Are all leaves of gelatine the same size? I think I would cheat and use a strawberry flavour packet of jelly next time. But overall a fab combination of layers and flavours."

Christmas pear & chocolate tiramisu trifle

    Tested

"I made this for Christmas day pudding, although I admit I cheated a bit and used the Delia method for the tiramisu layer to make it simpler, and the result was very delicious. So I would say great combination of flavours but slightly over complicated method."

    Allspice chocolate florentines

    Tested

"This is my 'go to' florentines recipe, I have to make some every year for my Mum! Remember florentines are like brandy snaps - they spread massively, they are supposed to be thin and you need to let them cool and solidify for a couple of minutes before you try to get them off the baking tray. I always use good dark chocolate, I think milk choc is too sweet for these, I don't use the chili because we don't like it, and really who has 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground allspice????? "
