"i make a cake very similar to this one - marmalade quinoa teacake. quinoa instead of semolina (so you can feel REALLY virtuous) and marmalade....saves having to mess about with making syrup. It's a member recipe on this site. Have a try and let me know what you think!"

"i loosely used this to make my own falafel recipe, which traditionally includes fava beans or broad beans - i used tinned broad beans. used the blender to mush to a smooth paste and took out the egg, added lemon juice, coriander and parsely. rolled into balls, covered in sesame seeds and baked in the oven! easy, tasty and healthy...but a bit dry, so make some mint/yogurt dip and enjoy!"

"gorgeous - what a great cookie recipe. like was pointed out before, not at all cakey like other 'american-style' cookie recipes. endless variations: i tried lemon and white chocolate, but could do cranberry and dark chocolate; orange and jumbo raisins (use the juice and zest); apricot and walnut; apple and cinnamon.............yum!"
