Butternut squash & sage risotto

"Friends around for dinner tomorrow so I'll be doing this for starters. Will definatly be using the butter because I think certain risottos need it, along with abit of grana. I also think that fried sage will add an unusual twist. Will rate and comment later. Seems delicious!"

"I cooked this yesterday, very nice. I also added capers to the the fish and also a little bit of garlic (half a clove with the middle stem removed). The chips worked very well. All in all a very well balanced meal and clean plates all round."

Braised oxtail with basil dumplings

"I can't wait for Autumn and Winter to try this recipe out on family and friends! Even though Italy is a haven for good recipes and fantastic ingredients and obviously very fussy eaters, during the winter months it always gives me great pleasure to entertain and show that we Brits are not all about fish and chips! Once cooked will leave my ratings and comments."

Rosemary & anchovy lamb steaks

"I prepared the evening before and also added 2 garlic cloves with the centre stems taken out. Very tender and a wonderful taste. I would never have thought of combining lamb & anchovies, as lamb has quite a strong flavour of it's own. The 2 flavours complemented each other very well indeed. Went down a treat, loved by all and will be doing again."
