"Hi, I'm in the proces of making this and I was wondering, at the top of the page it says it will make about 2.5 litres. Where does the extra litre come from? 1 litre of wodka, half a litre of water, what am I missing? "

"Wonderful for a chilly autumn evening. Made this last night, but made a slight change to the recipe. I put cooked potatoslices on the bottom of the baking dish and then followed the rest of the recipe. Delicious."

"Made a variation of the recipe using smoked salmon and a squeeze of lemon juice and had it as a salad. It was delicious, even if it came about because I read the recipe incorrectly before I dashed off to the shops, otherwise I would have bought normal salmon and a lemon. The best thing of all is that there is some left over for lunch tomorrow. "

"Absolutely delicious, I've made this tart three times already and it's delicious every time. Last time I added some fried bacon cubes (bought already fried) and the taste was even better (if you're a non-vegetarian like me)"
