"Loved it! I didn't bother with the sauce, just made it and brought to a party. The only pity was that it was out of the fridge for about 3 hours and it was almost mousse-like and very soft, difficult to cut. But I'm going to make it again for guests this weekend, it had a gorgeous taste."

"Very tasty and went down well with everyone. Great for cooking for a big group. I left out the wine in case it was too rich for the kids but will make it again and include it. Lots of compliments and easy to freeze. I found the meatballs a bit greasy when they finished baking so I used kitchen paper to resolve this. "

"This didn't work out well for me, but tasted fine. I thought the pastry tasted just ok, but I'd problems with both other layers. When making the lemon sauce, I continued cooking until it was plopping from the spoon. But after the cooling and reheating it had stiffened further and was too dark in colour and very dense - I had to add more water but even so it had reduced far too much. Then, when I took the pie out of the oven it was lovely and high and golden, but the meringue collapsed a lot when cooling. I may well try making this again. Perhaps I will leave it in the oven to cool and also stop cooking the lemon mixture before it gets as thick."

Raspberry & blueberry lime drizzle cake

    Tested

"Loved this cake! Very tasty and tangy. I found that it took me quite a while to prepare but was worth it. I only used half of the drizzle as I needed to travel with it and didn't fancy the idea of it being super moist and pudding-like. We brought sambos and squares of this cake for our picnic and wow did everyone enjoy them! Think this would be a great afternoon tea cake."

"Delicious and so easy to make! I reduced the sugar to 225g and it was still lovely and sweet. I'll make this again. "
