Spicy butternut squash soup

"I wanted to know how to prepare the butternut squash as this is a new veggie to me, but this just was not mentioned at all!!!! The soup sounds delicious so I will give it a try. Perhaps your recipes should assume that some of us are new to these veggies and give a bit more explanation. I have found this with other recipes on your site. You assume too much...."

"I made these burgers last week but they fell to bits in the grill pan when I tried to turn them over to cook....There was no binding agent....did you miss out egg or something. They were an absolute disaster. Ended up scooping the bits on to a baking tray and cooking the mush that way. It was quite tasty but would have been dreadful had I been making for friends for a meal....I would rate this with 1 star..... "

Classic scones with jam & clotted cream

"I never, ever, ever add salt to my scones and I think they are the best in the world! I am glad that you do not advocate rolling out the mixture with a rolling pin. Delia taught this years ago and I have always followed her suggestion. Great idea about the warm milk, must try that."
