    Cranberry, raisin & pecan knot

"Absolutely perfect. Freezes well, and makes lovely French toast with maple syrup! My son has taken to calling it "Christmas bread", even though it's only August"

Classic scones with jam & clotted cream

    Tested

"Fantastic and the easiest scone recipe I've tried! I did think my first batch was a little too sweet (as they were to be served with jam). I now don't bother with any sugar at all, they're perfect without."

"Fool proof! Made 6 of these loaves since I got my copy of the magazine, and each one has turned out perfectly. A consistently reliable recipe, even my 3 year old 'helped' with one loaf and it still turned out faultless "

"I liked the idea of this dish as a child friendly mid-week meal, but I did add more flavour with extra cumin and chilli, and also some smoked paprika. I also added finely chopped carrots and courgettes that needed to be used up, which helped to bulk up the dish so the sauce wasn't too runny. I served it with green beans and new potatoes."

"I made this chutney a month ago, following the recipe to the letter, and after opening it yesterday I can honestly say it has turned out lovely. I was very worried as there are a lot of negative comments on here, so I was relieved when I opened it and tasted it. I was concerned that the consistency was too runny when I was spooning it into jars. However, when I opened one yesterday the consistency was perfect and not at all runny."
