"So quick and yet tasty. Used cranberry compote instead of marmelade once, which worked fine as well. Didnt have rice vinegar, so I used lemon-flavoured vinegar, tasted nice."

"Love it! Added a cinnamon stick to the tomato sauce and I sometimes add more herbs (different every time, garlic, thyme or oregano), since i use plain tomato. I also prefer the aubergine griddled, and allthough it works from the microwave, turned a bit soggy and sadlooking indeed. Last time I got away with boiling the aubergine slices shortly and leaving the whole dish in the oven (fan 175C) instead of the grill (everything to escape having to using more grease on those spongy aubergines... ;)"

"I dont have ramekins, but in some other recipes I see similar bakes in cappuccino-cups. Has anyone ever tried putting ordinary cups in the oven? I am afraid that they will crack or break or something... "

"I make variations of this often, sometimes using sherry if I have no marsala, using porc instead of veal, using much more sage. I usually dont bother with the flour though. Its delicious every time!"
