"Made this recipe twice, once for a dinner party and again for my in-laws and everyone loved it. The flavors work brilliantly together and it's a fab way to serve pork belly, not at all heavy. Think this will definately become a favorite recipe."

"Made this recipe using mostly greengages and a few victoria plums and I used cinammon sticks instead of star anise as well. Served it with vanilla ice cream. It was gorgeous but very rich so you dont need a big bowl full. My hubby actually thought there was alcohol in it and was surprised when I told him there wasn't. I will definately make this recipe again."

"Peacock is right, these puds are very nice but a bit dry so I served them with some cornish cream ice cream and they were fab. Even a guest who doesn't normaly like puddings scoffed the lot!"

"Lovely recipe ,really enjoyed it. Easy to make but impressive enough to serve when you have guests. All the flavours work really well together. Be carefull with your steak, mine was a bit thin so did it for 1 1/2 mins on one side and 1 min on the other. Just right."
