"I made hampers as christmas presents and i put a jar of muffin mix (ikea jars are fantastic for this) and a jar of apple and cranberry chutney in. everybody loved them, they looked really festive, in fact i put a layer of dried cranberries in as well and just put less mixed fruit."

"Omit the stock but add a whole bottle of red wine, valpolicella is good, just leave it to cook for about 3 1/2 hours for a 5 1/2 lb shoulder joint, gorgeous!!"
