"i haven't made the recipe but quinoa is a wonderful grain, however i agree it takes time to appreciate. since i'm vegetarian, i try to use it a lot though as it has such a high protein profile."

"I tested this out in advance for my daughter's birhtday party. I made it in two round cake tins rather than one. It was quite delicious without any icing on it! I agree that it has a bit of a cakey-brownie consistency. It was loved by everyone and my daughter gave me the thumbs up for her party."

"this really was the fastest and best cake/pudding i've ever made. my kids loved it, and since i've got one who doesn't really like cake very much, that says a lot! having said all that, i was the only one to add lemon curd alongside, and i thought this combo was wonderful. the cake/pudding itself was obviously still light and moist without, otherwise it wouldn't have been scoffed. great!"
