    Crab cakes with sweet chilli & ginger dipping sauce

    "Made this as a starter - it was deeeeeeeelicious! Go on - try it! A real stunner! A fair bit of work involved - but definitely worth the effort! I fried the crabcakes beforehand and kept them warm in a low oven - worked a treat. Followed this with the Asian aubergine and pork hotpot and everyone loved them both!"

    " Tried this recipe out on my chums yesterday evening - and it was a wonderful success with everyone! The flavours were so different a real surprise - so was the fact that I forgot to take out the star anise and the cinnamon stick! Will definitely be making this again - especially since I have a glut of aubergines at the moment."

    " it was a lovely warm summer evening here in france, and as we have a glut of cucumbers at present decided to try this out on some friends who were coming for dinner - it was perfect!! Followed the recipe - apart from adding a little of our own homemade elderflower champagne instead of some of the soda water and the result was brilliant - extremely refreshing and drinkable. Definitely one for the summer!"

    "Tried this as I too have a glut of courgettes at the moment - and the result was great! Think I might add a little more mint next time or maybe change tack and add some coriander - will keep you posted on that! Also have a suspicion that this might also be good hot."

    "I've never made chocolate mousse before but thought I'd give this recipe a try because it didn't require a huge amount of cream and it worked out beautifully - I put it in tiny coffee cups and everyone thought it was great! Next time I might just try using white chocolate for a change."
