One-pan salmon with roast asparagus

"I made this tonight as per the original recipe but used dried thyme instead of fresh. We thought it was a little bland, and lacked something, but it was edible. I would make it again in future, but add some pancetta and white wine, and also more parmesan cheese. It needs a lot of seasoning to make it flavoursome. I served it with garlic bread which gave it added flavour and this helped."

Peppered mackerel & potato bake

"This was a great way to use up some peppered mackerel which had been lurking in the freezer for a while. I found it a bit rich, but I had added a bit more cream than the recipe suggested as I thought it might have been a bit dry for me. However, my husband loved it and requested I make it again. I topped it with cheese as suggested previously, and next time I would probably add more onions. It is a very tasty dish, and I will definitely make it again, but alter my quantities."

"We enjoyed this recipe, but if I make it in future I would probably use only 1 tin of butter beans and add some other veg. Had it with boiled potatoes, but think it would have been nicer with buttery mash. I used pork and chorizo sausages and they were really tasty so definitely recommend them."

"Made this for dinner tonight and thought it was really tasty. Made it with full fat coconut milk and added 4 tbsp of tikka masala paste, but would probably add more next time. I also added extra potato and some spinach which I had in the freezer. The main thing I would say is that I found it needed quite a bit of salt (and I really don't take much salt in my food). I will definitely make this again but add more curry paste and salt in the cooking process for flavour."
