"I used a meat mallet on the steaks first to make them a bit flatter, seasoned then griddled them well done (sorry I just can't eat pink, I am a wimp!), then in a frying pan let some red wine reduce and let the steaks simmer in that for 5 mins, took them out of the liquor and followed the rest of the recipe. Very tasty! Have also done with "Yorkshire Blue" blue cheese and that was nice and creamy."

"I made these brownies but added 50g-ish of chopped walnuts. It worked great with the nuts and made them slightly less dense. Really reeeeally rich brownies, I agree with others that smaller portions are the way to go (people can always have another one!), totally yummy, I resented offering them to my friends!!! I too had to cook them longer than stated, mine took about 35mins, but if you wait for the top to go crispy they should be done fine. I don't like baking really, but these were so easy I didn't mind!"
