"I have made this several times and everyone loves it. I also use wholemeal breadcrumbs to make it healthier. I have served it with home-made oven chips and posh mushy peas (garden peas seasoned and mashed with crème fraiche). Perfect every time & incredibly easy!"

"These were great, very easy to make. I used "mixed spice" instead of cinnamon and increased the amount of 3 tsp which I preferred as 1st time round you could hardly taste the spice. I didn't go by the recipe for the amount of chocolate I just melted some a bit at a time. I gave them away as presents and got lots of compliments on them."

Chard, sweet potato & peanut stew

    Tested

"I could not get chard so I used broccoli instead, I also used stock instead of water and "no sugar peanut butter". I also preferred this with normal potatoes rather than sweet ones. This was super delicious indeed! Everyone loved it and I've made it again since, for the meat eaters of the house I added chicken and it went down a storm."

"Oohhh..also I only added the juice of one lemon and added a large hot fresh chilli instead of powder!"

"I substituted parsnips with sweet potatoes & used apricots instead of prunes. I really liked it but next time I will not add leeks as I didn't think they worked. I served it was cous-cous which I made with stock and harrisa paste and some chick peas. Also I cooked mine in a large pan on the hob as I didn't have a big enough casserole dish...I cooked it for friends and they all enjoyed it."
