"Absolutely beautiful. Definitely the best mussels I've ever tasted!! The sauce was divine and I made some crusty bread to mop it all up. I've never made homemade chips, so I was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were. My mayonnaise failed the first time, but I think it was my fault for trying to do a small amount in a blender and it just didn't mix enough. I tried again, using a hand whisk, omitting the vinegar (because it gave it an odd taste) and using a teaspoon of Dijon mustard instead of powder and it worked an absolute treat. Really worthwhile making your own mayo because it's so much better than shop bought stuff. I always like Gordon's recipes with their clear step-by-step instructions. Another winner Ramsay!!"

    Best-ever crab sandwiches

    Tested

"Absolutely beautiful. We bought a couple of live crabs from the local fish market to make these sandwiches amongst other things. They were seriously nice. Just enough additional ingredients to add more flavour, but not overpower the delicate crab. Will definitely make again."

    Chicken, chickpea & lemon casserole

    Tested

"Really tasty recipe and so very easy to make too. Will definitely be making this again. I used a whole can of chickpeas because I didn't have any need for the other half and I thickened the liquid a bit with some cornflour. Good suggestion on including the veg with the casserole Ermintrude. I think I might do that next time. "

"Made this today. Incredibly easy and tastes absolutely delicious. Very summery! Next time I'll use more berries though as 200g wasn't enough to completely cover the base of my cake tin. Also make sure you put a baking sheet on the bottom of the oven, as the berries seep juice everywhere. Luckily I have a teflon sheet on the bottom of mine. "

"Made this last night to celebrate National Pie Day (yes, you read that right!!) and it was utterly delicious. It was an added bonus that it was also very easy to make. Highly recommended. I halved the recipe to feed 2 and they were absoutely gigantic portions!!!"
