"Just loved this chutney and served it with the stuffed chicken roll as suggested. No worries about keeping it as it all disappeared but, as per the comments above, that advice would be welcome for the next time as I will make double quantities."

"I should have read the tips before I started this but had a glut of blackberries and not much time so followed the recipe as originally written. It did not set and the ginger, which although chopped finely did not cook, was far too intrusive. "

Crab & corn cakes with chilli dipping sauce

"I have made this twice. Absolutely delicious but make sure you keep the portions to a sparse dessertspoonful otherwise they're rather more than a mouthful. Good fun, great taste and looked just like the picture. Tried a hot chilli sauce for dipping the second time - not as successful. You do need to eat them straight away but they're so delicious they don't hang around anyway."

"have now made this several times, more recently for jaded palates after christmas. served it as a saturday light lunch (relatively small portions) for friends followed by a salad and cheese. doubled the recipe so obviously took a bit longer but liked by all age groups present.."

"so easy. appealed to all the family from 20 - 80 years. i could not get seville oranges so squeezed ordinary oranges but added a dessertspoon of home made seville orange and lemon marmalade. seemed to work and everyone liked it."
