"This was possibly the best quiche I have ever cooked/eaten. I almost ruined it, my fan oven being a tad too hot, even at the lower temps stated. I added a chopped red onion to the bacon when frying it, and honestly thought the small quantity of cheese that I used (cheddar) wouldn't be enough - but it was perfect. I've already bought the ingredients to cook this again, immediately. Not sure I'll be able to wait for it to cool down this time ;)"

"Fab recipe. I used 2 small chicken breasts instead of thighs and a 400g tin of chopped toms (didn't want to sacrifice my greenhouse toms to a stew). Also used half a large fresh red chilli and a tsp of smoked paprika plus chorizo sausage rather than slices, and a 300g tin of borlotti beans. Had to reduce down the liquor a tad. Made enough for three people when served with brown rice, will most definitely be cooking it again. Scrumptious"

"Just cooked this, followed the recipe exactly - even used chicken thighs (not a favourite in this house). The finished meal was incredibly rich and really didn't need a whole 200g of cream cheese, also the skin on the thighs was very soggy after being simmered, and unpalatable. I'd cook this again but substitute chicken breast (re *tip*), add more tomatoes and use 100g of a lower fat cream cheese."

"Just baked these as the cookie jar was empty - absolutely gorgeous. No bells and whistles, just a lovely biscuit to have available when you feel the need to raid the cupboards (and freezer) for something sweet and crunchy. I added coconut to mine and they were nubbly, narly and moreish. Already planning to make a second batch of batter and leave in the freezer for emergencies."

"Just made this, doubled the quantity and added ornflour to thicken - very nice, but would have been even better with some single cream swapped with some of the milk. I'd make this again, but only as a way to use up leftovers."
