"Just made the parfait without sultanas (couldn't get jumbo ones in supermarket) - added white wine instead of dessert wine. Was really smooth and lovely. Also agree that it needs more garlic, and black pepper. Will make again for Christmas Day starter."

"Delicious, light, tangy dessert which I've made a few times. Served with Patisserie Crepe Biscuits or Cigar type biscuits which are great for scooping it up - delish!"

"Made this for my daughter's birthday yesterday - didn't like the wholemeal flour at all - cake tasted like wheaten bread! Will try again with white self raising flour."
