"Well, I haven't made these particular cakes myself but a good friend has been 'practising' on her friends in trial run for wedding cake (poor us!) and I can say that the chocolate and lemon cakes are totally lush. Re transporting cakes - in my own experience it's best to do this with the cakes in as untouched a condition as possible - i.e. slice, fill and ice on arrival at destination."

"This would have been delicious if the mince had been cooked properly. Sadly, my son, who made this, followed the recipe literally and so the lean steak mince maybe received 8-10 mins cooking time in total and was tough and chewy. Surely it needs 15-20 minutes cooking time?"

"Ran out of time (new baby in the house!) so ended up browning mince and adding sauce - it was delicious with pasta. Will do recipe properly soon!"

"This was delicious. Added spinach to mince mix (as above) and also forgot to deseed chillies so was a bit more spicy than expected!"

"Yum! Added broccoli and bacon as suggested above. Also used red onion cos that's what i had - kids were v disappointed sauce wasn't pink!"
