    "I first cooked my Christmas Gammon using this recipe in 2008 and shall be using it again this year. It results in a beautifully moist and succulent ham and the cold leftovers are as good as the hot gammon! Any leftovers also freeze well. "

    "I have made this marzipan for the last 3 years to cover the Almond and Sherry Christmas Cake that was in the same issue of Good food. I also am not keen on marzipan but I loved this version as it wasn't too almondy. Also a bit hit with kids who are not so keen on shop bought marzipan. Highly recommended."

    "I first made this cake for Christmas 2 years ago when it was first in Good Food and I must admit it was so lovely that I will be making it again this year. The PX sherry makes it so moist and has a real 'raisiny' flavour so compliments the cake amazingly. I use the orange marzipan to cover it that was also in the same magazine a couple of years ago. Highly recommended!"

    "This is a quick and easy storecupboard soup - I added the whole tin of chickpeas and also a splash of Thomasina Miers' 'Wahaca Habanero hot sauce' as I found it a bit lacking on chilli kick. Great."

    "This is a really tasty and quick dish that even my meat loving husband really enjoyed! The radishes and sour cream are an excellent addition - and a sprinkling of chopped corriander works well too."
