"Made today, tricky to get decent amount of filling inside. But out of the hit and miss ones the hit ones were great! Would make again, maybe making the pastry a little larger to enable ease of pie closure! "

"Great recipe, but like many others I would adapt it slightly to personal preference. Less water, more chilli and a touch of tomato puree to thicken if needed. Will 100% keep making this."

"Made this yesterday, daughter had no idea about the beetroot! Nice texture but too chocolatey. Quite a thick batter, messy! Would only make again occasionally."

"Cooked brilliantly, I had to adjust the cooking time as it needed longer, but I now realise that was down to my error - I added 3 eggs not just the 2! Daughter and her friend thought it was great, so will be making again."

"I agree easy to make and tasty. didn't make 250g portions though mine alot smaller - a few seemed undercooked through the middle. Would make again but small and thinner."
