    "This recipe is superb! I had cooked with venison before, but this was a roaring success! I took inspiration from another recipe on this website and added a 200g pack of ready-to-go chestnuts to the pot midway through cooking. This worked wonderfully and added a beautiful toffee note to the sauce. Will be making again!"

    "Did this to go with the Beef recipe recommended, and thought it was absolutely beautiful. I had never made mash using this method before (I had always mashed first and then added the yummy stuff), but this way is much better! And the parmesan and herbs really both add something. Will make again!"

    "This is amazing! My favourite goodfood risotto so far! Could not find fish stock cubes over here in Austria, so made up a vegetable stock and then followed Barney's tips with the shells and chillis, yum, I really believe this contributed to the flavour of the risotto. Added the prawns right near the end, as instructions were a bit confusing and didn't want to have them in the pan for 25 mins. Added a bit more lemon than the recipe suggested to taste. Loved it!"

    "This is a great way to use up leftover chicken! Didn't have any basil or spring onion so did it without and it was still lovely. Made the sauce using creme fraiche instead of mayo as I didn't have any and this worked fine too. Yummy, looking forward to it for lunch tomorrow!!"
