"The first cake I've ever made, and at 60 that's not bad going! I am not a very confident cook and the fact that this took 1hr 45 mins instead of the 50 to 60 mins it says had me rather worried. But it was a great success! Have not iced it, that's a skill for another day, it's easily sweet enough as is."
