"this was fab, i omitted the milk and simply fried spring onions and mashed in mash with a tiny bit of butter to bring the fat content down, i dry fried leaner sausages to try to reduce the fat, the bacon did not fit well we both said next time we would put in one of red pepper/celery/carrot instead of bacon. its lovely and really tasty and cheap, i served with mangetout and corn."

"GORGEOUS SOUP, NO NEED TO GRATE I CHOPPED INTO CHUNKS AND SIMMERED FOR 20 MINS THEN BLENDED, I ALSO HAVE ADDED A YELLOW PEPPER AT THE ONION STAGE AND GINGER TO VARY THE RECIPE"
