- My last supper would be... Probably something with mushrooms and cheese...
- My fool proof recipe is... A greek style lamb casserole with new potatoes, lemon and feta. Delicious every time. The recipe was from Good Food but it has disappeared. Glad I cut it out of the mag!
- My favourite utensil is... My potato ricer.
- If I am not cooking I'm... watching food programmes, reading about food, finding recipes, buying ingredients...
- The best meal I've eaten was... Couldn't possibly answer that! But any meal eaten outside, overlooking the ocean has to be good.

Macaroni cheese with mushrooms

"Yummy comfort food! Admittedly, I did a variation by omitting the leeks, adding the bacon and using Shropshire blue cheese. But the result was extremely tasty! "

Lemon & rosemary potato wedges

"These made a pleasant change from normal roast potatoes and were easy to do. However, the lemon was too prominent (I was cooking for two, so halved the amount to the juice of 1 lemon - but it was still too much). Also, there is definitely garlic in the picture, and I added some as a matter of course. I'll make these again (as they make rather nice nibbles as left overs too!) But I'll reduce the lemon - might even just add zest instead of juice next time. The idea of soaking the par-boiled wedges in the flavoured oil is terrific and you could vary the flavourings to complement the main dish, which makes them very adaptable. "

"As a big fan of warm salads I had high expectations of this one. But, honestly, it seems to me that there were too many flavours. Individually, all the components are lovely, (and the cooking smells of roasting onions and frying bacon were gorgeous!) but with all the other ingredients on the plate, it was a little too much. (Second attempt at posting - apologies if two versions of this turn up.)"

"What a terrific side dish! So easy to do, and so tasty. I boiled some small Charlotte potatoes and used the dressing on those too. Delicious!"

One-pot lentil chicken

"Very simple to do, and the result was a very hearty, tasty and warming dish. (And thanks to reading the reviews first, I prepared early and left it simmering very gently for longer than the recipe stated.) I also made the hot dressed carrots that were suggested as an accompaniment, and included small boiled Charlotte potatoes too - really delicious! A lovely side dish that would go with lots of things.
