Tested

"I made this for my brothers birthday and used two tins to save having to cut in half. I struggled to get it out of the tins ( it had risen too much) and the top started to crumble. I also used green and black maya chocolate plus a bar of their milk chocolate. UI think this chocolate was too strong and left a sort of ginger type taste in the ganache. So that isn't recommeded. The quantity of ganache is too much so I only used half - probably not quite enough. Overall very rich although loved by my six year old nephew. if I make this again I will use different chocolate probably with less dark chocolate and more milk chocolate and use a bigger tin. I used natural yoghurt instead of buttemilk and 3 large eggs - again probably should have used medium. Otherwise very easy to make. I hope my brother likes it as it is a big cake ! "

"I made this for a colleague's birthday and took it into work. It went done a storm. It is lovely, very light and very moreish. I only used half of the topping as it did seem a lot and used low fat phili cheese. Gorgeous! six stars . "

"This is gorgeous. I took it into work for a birthday for someone who doesn't like cake - they loved it. It is light and very tasty. I halved the amount of topping as it makes rather a lot and used a drop of vanilla rather than cinammon. "
