"I usually love "Olive" recipes, but this was very disappointing. The overall consistency was watery and the flavours weren't very developed. Even although this was made in advance of the dinner (I was using it as a side dish), the flavours never achieved any depth, and instead it was like a watery soup with lentils, mushed cauliflower and bits of chilli floating in it. Not very nice."

"A great recipe. Husband and I loved it and there was plenty of leftovers for lunches. I didn't have any rosewater so didn't use it, but didn't miss it either. It is quite fiddly to make, but delicious and definitely worth it."

"These are amazing! I followed the recipe as written, but put the mixture into two smaller tins instead of one tin. They cooked in 20 minutes exactly. I cut each tin into 10, but I think 15 would have been better. Definitely aim for 30-36 brownies out of this recipe. Only the biggest chocoholic could eat a 1/12th Brownie! But a fantastic recipe (and turns out a pretty good imitation of the real Borough Market brownie!)"

"Absolutely delicious! Pushing the mixture through a sieve really gave it a very smooth taste. Could maybe do with a pinch of salt, but otherwise delicious!"

"Really nice pudding. I had the same problem as Fifi and ended up with a big lump when I added the chocolate to the egg yolk mixture. I then added the cream and it lost all its fluff as the mixture was too hot. For the next two layers I mixed the chocolate and the egg yolk with an electric whisk then let cool for 10 minutes before starting on the egg whites. By the time the egg whites were done the chocolate mixture was cool enough to mix in the cream and egg whites. It all tasted absolutely delicious though!!"
