"Absolutely love this, have been looking for a good (and quick) asian soup base recipe and this is perfect, especially with the toasted sesame oil. I use whatever meat I have to hand, cooked chicken, or even sausage meatballs, and organic noodles which are so much more tasty normal ones. Delicious."

"With so many ratings I felt I had to make this to see what the fuss was about, had the same problems as other people, glaze soaked completely into the cake, took a lot longer to cook than stated, but it tasted superb. Perhaps it should say icing sugar for the glaze? I will try that next time."

"Fantastic recipe, I had a bit of trouble removing the apricot skins so the cake was out of the oven for quite a while but it didn't see to matter, my crumble was also a bit greasy but the finished cake tasted amazing."

"Thought this was a bit bland, I also used salami (maybe chorizo would have added more flavour) & added chicken stock but think it needed something more, perhaps I will stick to a paella style recipe next time."
