"didn't use as much coconut milk as suggested and substituted about 3/4 with veg stock. It def needed the crispy onions on top, and it was delicious. my very anti-vegetarian brother loved it. I made it a second time and it was a bit bland, not sure what I did differently, but it's a great healthy winter meal"

"instead of buttermilk - mix half milk and half natural yoghurt, it's just the same! going to try this on the weekend. an irish colleague was telling tales of her mum's soda bread - and a soda bread stew! hoping that a recipe for that pops up somewhere..."

"delicious! i had them at a cocktail party and the sugar syrup ended up making it's way in to most concoctions. Fancy, easy, very tasty! mmmm"

"made these for a cocktail party and they were a huge hit. as others said, the filling fell off a couple of them but i tired the scoring and it worked perfectly! i didnt find it fiddly at all, very easy for a great result"
