"Wonderful cake! Easy to make and is a huge favourite round these parts now. Didn't have mixed spice so just made up using ginger and cinnamon and also added apricots. About to make another batch now :)"

"Amazingly easy and comes out perfect. I made given quantities (substituting half of ginger in syrup for some crystallised ginger) and it made 3 x 1lb loaves (1hr exactly cooking) Great!!!"
