"I am replying to Stephilou question, yes i have tried it with half beef stock and half Ale and it is lovely, it's also good with guiness too, I also add a bit of tomato puree, i make puff pastry lids for mine and put on at the end when serving, I always seem to have a problem with my pastry colapsing into the pie."

"I love this recipe, I have done it several times, I also like to use the same sauce but do it with King Prawns and mix everything together with Linguine delicious"

"I did these last night, I did not like them, Turkey mince does not have much flavour so I shall be sticking to the Beef & Pork ones in furture. They did not fall apart though and I didn't use any breadcrumbs, I just dusted them in a litte flour and put them in the fridge to firm up for a bit. I also used plain passata sauce and added garlic and onion myself, I also added some chilli flakes to the sauce for extra flavour "

"I always cook these meatballs but I use beef & pork, for extra flavour, I never use breadcrumbs or egg when I either do Burgers or meatballs, I don't think you need to have it as they bind together quite well and just think you are leaving out a few extra calories. I also like to add a generous pinch of cumin to the meatballs for extra taste. I did the Turkey Mince meatballs last night for dinner, as was not that impressed, not as good as the beef & pork ones"
