Perfect porridge

"I started having porridge for breakfast when I was told I had high cholestrol and after about 6 months of having porridge and having soya milk it had brought my cholestrol right down, I love mone with wirth banana and honey or some dried figs, put the dried figs chopped up in first before heating and when it is cooked all the seeds are released and it tastes great. Sometimes for a change I put in some raspberry jam instead of honey, delicious. I have never tried soaking them overnight as suggested so I will give this a try."

"I'm sorry to say but I was so keen on this, everything just tasted the same and it was very greasy. I don't think this will be in my favourites."

"I thought this was really nice, I have never used Harissa Paste before, although I did add more than suggested. I served it with some roasted peppers, red onion, mushrooms, courgette, cherry tomatoes and black olives, basically everything I had in my fridge, oh and nor forgetting some potato wedges. A lovely crisp white wine along side it was even better. Would definately do again."

Prawn & courgette linguine

"I thought this was really tasty, a bit more chilli flakes maybe next time. I didn't have any basil, so I used basil oil and through some rocket leaves in at the end. Will definately do again. "

Mexican chilli chicken

"I really loved this recipe too, I reduced the amount of water and left the lid off at the end so it thickend up nicely, don't really like the cannellini beans, so next time I would use red kidney beans, instaed, also I think I will add more chilli to give it a bit of a kick, I served it with Jacket Potato, but will try rice next time."
