Silky celeriac soup with smoked haddock

    Tested

"This is a top recipe - a cut above most celeriac soups. The fish makes it a good hearty meal too. I avoided using the cream and just used the milk I'd poached the haddock in. Great winter supper - and a brilliant soup for those trying to use of veg box produce. "

    Lemon curd & raspberry roulade

    Tested

"I've always wanted to make a roulade and this was my first attempt - and it was a triumph! I was super nervous about it but it worked brilliantly and tasted like a dream. You could serve this as a pudding or with coffee in the afternoon. Watching the 'how to' video (in the 'How to cook' section above) on making a swiss roll/roulade really helped with the rolling - and boosted my confidence... another pair of hands helps too. I mixed whipping cream with creme fraiche as I wanted to give it a bit more tang. "

"Easy-peasy and really a very, very lovely pudding for chocolate lovers. All my guests asked for the recipe. It is totally delicious and extremely easy to make. A winning combination. "

"This is a winner of a recipe! You can make it in a blender, or in a bowl with a hand mixer - it's super easy, quick, not very expensive to make and everyone loves it. Plus it's magic how you get two layers at the end. It's not too sweet, not too sour - the ideal end to your meal. I just wish we'd had some leftovers. But it's unlikely this will ever happen. "

"Quick, easy and really more delicious than you would think. You can rustle it up from mostly store-cupboard ingredients too. I would say that the portions are not large - if you're making it for dinner then double the quantities then you'll have enough for two large bowls plus enough left over for one lunch the next day. I've made it for a dinner party starter - adding in some roasted cherry tomatoes towards the end to give it an extra kick. A teaspoon of sugar doesn't hurt either."
