"made these to serve with a roast chicken dinner but ate most of them before we sat donw to eat. I didn`t use the honey and they still tasted good. also made these as for a party and brought them along and served as a canape. everyone loved them . easy to make just, make sure you have enough cocktail sticks. love the prune ones ,so sweet and sticky. these do not last long in our house.my five year loves them. didnot cook for 30 mins (as my cooker is quite pokey) but just 25 mins.i would suggest to check them at 25 and take out if nicely browned ."

Succulent braised venison

"this was lovely and easy to make. had to use blackcurrant jelly (as i live in canada on could not get hold of any redcurrant jelly) which worked well. meat was tender and sreved with mashed potatoes and warm french bread. will make this again for sure."
