"The recipe in the Good Food magazine (Sept. 2008) actually gave the amount of berries to use as 600gr not 200gr as shown above. This could be why one person didn't find it enough to cover the base of the baking dish."

Spicy potato soup

"I found it more than spicy enough with the one tablespoon of curry powder so I would advise trying the basic recipe first before experimenting with more. I loved the texture and added dry coriander leaves whilst it was cooking."

"Substitute 1 tbsp. of melted butter, one tbsp olive oil and 3 tbsp of freshly grated parmesan or Grand Padano cheese for the butter and breadcrumbs. It is an even more delicious topping."

Chestnut & cranberry roll

"I live in Spain and did not have access to chestnuts so I put pine nuts in.I could not get cooking apples so I thinly sliced an eating apple and put it in a layer over the sausagemeat. I thought it was equally nice cold and sliced for a buffet. I am going to make one for NewYear's Eve using serano ham instead of bacon. It was certainly well received with the 'wow' factor."
