"My mum gave this 20 out of 10 which even allowing for her bias is a good score! Everyone was ooo'ing and aaah'ing and saying that it was like the very best posh deli cake. Praise indeed. So tasty and moist and rises beautifully. PLUS, I am a coeliac so made it with gluten-free flour - deelish!"

"Flippin lovely! The strawberries and almonds really do make all the difference. I did a taste test when it came out of the oven and struggled to stop after 2 teaspoons full! Pine nuts were fit too. My mum gave it 20 out of 10!"

"Made this with gluten-free plain white flour and it was delicious. Think I should have cooked it a bit longer though with foil on top as it was nicely golden brown early on. Didn't do the lemon glaze as didn't think it needed it. It was a big hit with the family, didn't last 24 hours!"

"Made this with Roule as Sainsbury's had run out of Boursin! It was completely delicious and really easy to make. Served with ratatouille, green salad, and new spuds Mum thought it was "very M&S", which I think is a good thing!"
