"I thought this was very good although I served with Spinach and the "noodles with bamboo shoots" recipe, as I didn't fancy the pak choi and garlic part of the recipe. The salmon and ginger is dead simple to make, looks and tastes good, and as demonstrated, goes well with other oriental type accompaniments."

"Worth the effort and definitely dinner party material! The rice is superb and l'll copy this for making other meals. Dill cream was excellent - and so simple - although I think would work just as well with low fat youghurt. "

"Nothing to write home about. I found this uninspiring and low on flavour. If you fancy trying, I suggest you increase amount of peppercorns as 1tsp is not enough (maybe a typo?) between 4 people. On the plus side, it is easy and quick!"

" Followed most of the suggestions to the recipe which I think could be essential for colour and interest. Used peppered mackerel, and added red pepper and a few button mushrooms. Also used cheese instead of breadcrumbs. I didn't use any seasoning (not needed with capers plus peppered mackerel) and served with frozen peas (although it would work just as well with a green salad). Extremely good and simple. I may try a few cherry tomatoes next time (definitely good enough to do again) and maybe some broken crisps along with the cheese on top, to give it a bit more of a crunch."

"Truly excellent with interesting flavours. I followed tips above and increased stock, but othewise followed recipe to the letter. Very substantial served with green beans. No reason I can think of why this can't be prepared in advance, so an easy and impressive supper dish which I can see becoming a firm favourite."
