"I had some problems getting it to rise...it wasn't very well risen, and slightly stodgy in texture (although this may be related to the pumpkin in it) - almost like the texture of a banana bread. However, it was really very tasty! I also made some ginger toffee sauce to go with it, and heated it up in the microwave then had it as a pudding. Very tasty!"

"Yum. Gotta love a jam roly poly. I always thought they'd be tricky to make - steaming puddings always puts me off a recipe, but this method was very simple and came out really well!"

"Well, I adapted it slightly, so it wasn't exactly as in the recipe. There were no cherries at the market, so I used raspberries instead, and my local shop doesn't sell mascarpone, so I switched that with light cream cheese. But it was delicious - very light, moist, fruity and with lovely white chocolate chunks. I'll definitely make it again...hopefully soon!!!"

"Yummm! Made this for a friends birthday and everyone loved it! I missed out the coffee as did many other people! I like the way some of the bits of caramel sunk to the bottom of the cake and went all chewy! And the icing was sublime it was difficult to stop myself eating it all before I got it on the cake ;-)"
