" Not a success in my house.....more like chocolate cake than brownies so will go back to my usual brownie recipe. The mayonaise worked well though. "

"Not very impressed with this recipe. I made it last night and won't be repeating the experience. I was expecting a delicious sauce, after all the preparation, but was sadly disappointed. I used half-fat creme fraiche instead of yoghurt which prevented the curdling appearance of the sauce. Edible, but definately not worth the time and effort!"

" Really easy dessert to make and the tarts look very pretty. To keep the fat content down, we used half fat creme fraiche and reduced sugar strawberry jam (altho' I think the tarts tasted good without the addition of the jam). Lovely easy dessert which went down a treat after dinner last night."

"We really enjoyed this dish, but only with the addition of tomato sauce, parmesan and pine nuts...The basic recipe is good, but in my view not sufficiently tasty to eat without the additional ingredients."

"Really enjoyed making these and they looked exactly like the photo. Once my daughters got over the fact that these muffins were savoury and not sweet, they gobbled them up as their after school snack. Having read all the comments, I added some bacon to the mixture and some parmesan cheese. Next time I'll add more bacon and use extra mature cheddar as well as the parmesan. "
