"We try to keep our sugar consumption down, so reduced sugars to 75g each. It was still very sweet, and the texture does not appear to have suffered. Increased plums to 500g, my pot of cream was 300ml so used it all, and did not add any water (in view of Kay's comments). Produced enough to fill 2 x 0.6 litre pots, with some over. We will be making this again, possibly reducing the sugar still further."

"When I made these, I used 75g rapeseed oil instead of butter and only 50g of sugar. They were very tasty, and definitely looked like muffins. In view of the fact that oranges vary in size, I intend to measure the volume of orange juice next time so that I can be sure the results will be consistent. Unfortunately, I didn't do it this time round. "

"Didn't bother weighing or mixing the couscous with the aubergine flesh, but apart from that I didn't change anything. Easy to make and very tasty."

"Just reqalised I misread the cooking time! 25 mins plus 15 should be about right."

"There wasn't any indication as to how much baking powder should be used. Made them with 1tsp & they were OK, although I had to double the cooking time. Not the best biscotti we've had, but they all disappeared so I would make them again."
