"I made this for the first time two weeks ago - it was so good we're having it again tonight for bonfire night. It was very popular with all the family, including my fairly fussy children aged 8 and 6. I made it in the mornng and reheated it at supper time; it was delicious."

"So easy and delicious. I tried the suggestion of adding a tsp of almond essence and a few dots of raspberry jam and it was wonderful. Will def be making again."

"Fiddly to make with lots of washing up - however the finished cake did look and taste great (dark layer too strong/bitter for the kids though)."

"Gorgeous and really easy. Doubled the recipe and made with Fairtrade cocoa, chocolate and mini eggs for my daughter's school's Fairtrade Easter tea. They seemed to go down really well."
