"Agree with jdr that it was too buttery. I think if I make it again I'd want to significantly reduce the amount of butter in it as it left grease marks on whatever it touched! Also not good for the guilt when you're eating it! Tasted very nice though apart from that. Will definitely try the orangey marscapone idea for the topping next time too as the topping is too dry."

"We had bought some orzo from Waitrose a while back and not got round to doing anything with it, so finding the orzo wasn't a problem. We used trout instead of salmon and left out the cucumber because we don't much like it, and it all tasted really lovely. We had some salad with it and I made a salad dressing with some more lemon juice, olive oil, mayonnaise and I think I added a bit of cider vineger and a little honey - it was really really yummy! Will be making it again tomorrow night exactly the same way. I agree with Belkey that I wouldn't want it cold so we did it sort of room temperature. A really yummy, fresh tasting summery meal!"

Cinnamon lamb steaks with rice & kale

"This was nice, especially the rice, but I couldn't taste any of the lemon or cinnamon flavours on the lamb, which was disappointing as I was looking forward to the 'twang' mentioned in the review above! We didn't have any kale so had roasted squash with it instead, which went quite well."

"Very yummy! We also added cumin out of sheer instinct before we saw any of the comments, since this is a Mexican-style dish. It tasted really good. We used a can of mixed beans and had it with soft flour tortillas, lots of lime juice squeezed over, and a bit of creme fraiche blobbed on - yummeeee!"

"This was so delicious! Did it pretty much exactly as per the recipe but used Madeira instead of white wine and was more generous with the parsley and parmesan. Served it with chicken which had been roasted with lemon - it went really well. I'd definitely make this again in exactly the same way - this recipe could quite easily be served in a really good restaurant I reckon :)"
