"oh so gorgeous, saw the suggestions about apricots and dived into the storecupboard for apricots and figs. Just remember to remove the small stalks from figs etc. before putting in as you cannot see them afterwards. Gorgeous.An opportunity to use up all differents nuts, seeds, dried fruits, a different taste every time. Thank you AGAIN"

"Gosh, really surprised at the comments. Made this cake for my son's b'day at his request when he saw pic in magazine so it was Jan'10. It came out lovely and tasted gorgeous, but I did not use the filling as in the recipe used plain cream/ creme fraiche. Such was the success made it since then again and was fine that time also. Curiouser and curiouser!!"
