"This is a fantastic cake, would really recommend this. There is a battle with the kids when we make this about to Curd or not to Curd, and how much is right. But this is so dependable, and a favourite with all."

"these were very very liked. missed the instruction to up the temp 30mins from the end, but there was no problem. Had chinese rice wine only, (tho it may now be vinegar I've had it sooooo long, also used groundnut oil instead of sesame, but still very good and tasty. Certainly found loads in 1kilo of ribs. smashing"

"Made this last year, and everyone commented how it was so gorgeous, and preferred it to the other suet mincepies I made. Threw in some dried cranberries I had in the cupboard for agessssss. Have just made it for this Christmas and probably make two batches of it. Am dying to try it. "

"My daughter now makes these by herself or with pals. We also have begun to prepare the batter ( or she does) and leave it in the fridge and she will make them the next morning before school - some for breakfast and some to school for lunch. Great incentive to get up early. Thank you."
