"These are fab! I made them for an 80's themed party and they went down a storm. I watched the clip on You Tube which does help, but they are very easy to make. Although, my hands looked like a smurf for a while afterwards. Just made a vanilla cupcake base, as the topping is sweet. Did cheat slightly as bought Betty Crocker vanilla buttercream/frosting. Easy to work with. Now, I have a request to make them for a friend's daughter's 9th birthday. So yes they are popular with all ages. "

"beautiful! for the frosting i mae one flavoured with maple syrup and a splas oh rum, works really well with the cake. "

"this is just so yummy, fudgy and gooey! for everyday didn't bother with the ganache but for a friends party made the effort. had trouble splitting the cake into 2 let alone 3 so left as 1 and used ganache to glue it together! still looked great!!! used a potato peeler to grate a mix of white and dark chocolate. a true success"
